I had said in my last post about the Polyend Tracker that I would attempt some ambient music. That didn’t happen. As I’ve explored this device more, I’ve found that it’s and my strengths are cutting breaks. It really shines and makes cutting breaks a breeze.
During week 4 and 5, I furthered this, speeding up to 172bpm, maintaining jungle vibes throughout. Week 4’s track was based around one break pattern, and one bass line, keeping it as minimal and raw as possible, focusing purely on groove. And week’s 5 tune, was purely 90’s inspired, with that ambient/liquid drum and bass vibe, drawing from LTJ Bukem and artists of that nature.
